Technology
State-of-the-art technology helps us make your experience at Neighborhood Orthodontics exceptional. Dr. Ricafort has invested in advanced equipment to streamline the orthodontic treatment process, saving you time and making our procedures stress-free. Read on to learn more about some of the dental technology you’ll find at Neighborhood Orthodontics.
CBCT Cone Beam Technology
At Neighborhood Orthodontics, we’re committed to providing our patients with the highest level of care!
Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) provides 3-D imaging of a patient’s teeth, jawbone, roots, and jaw joints, which gives Dr. Ricafort a complete overview of their needs. Detailed 3-D images can help him better evaluate a patient’s impacted teeth or the need for palatal expansion, among other treatment needs.

Digital Impressions
Instead of using messy and uncomfortable impression material to make a mold of your teeth, we can now quickly and comfortably scan a digital impression that provides excellent results. Digital impressions offer a quick and comfortable way to deliver a 3-D image of your teeth that Dr. Ricafort can use to create clear aligners, retainers, and other appliances.
Digital impressions make treatment procedures more streamlined and comfortable for our patients.

Digital Records
Digital records allow us to store and access our patients’ pertinent information safely. The data is easily accessible, so we always have the x-rays, health history, or notes we need to diagnose treatment or help you with insurance information.
Storing records digitally also makes it easy for us to share pertinent information with other providers if necessary.
